WEATHER

Northern British Columbia and South-East Alaska is a region with a cool, mild climate. The North Pacific Ocean and mountains of the Coast Range determine the weather. The land is covered with temperate rain forest, and as the name implies, there is an abundance of rain, especially in the winter.

During the time of our expeditions the weather is generally pleasant. There are lots of sunny days - some showers can be expected - and winds usually pipe up in the afternoon.
